Board approves ADA evaluation contract, reviews financial policies.

Middlefield Select Board and Finance Committee authorize ADA evaluation contract. Town Administrator Evan Kenney was directed to finalize contract terms with Pioneer Valley Planning Commission for a Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan; the motion passed unanimously. Finance Committee member Kenneth Murray objected to short notice on end-of-year transfers but the board approved them unanimously.
Residents raised accessibility issues at Town Hall and the park. The board will address a Baystate Books donation-bin request and consider increased Transfer Station fees at its next meeting.
