MIDDLEFIELD — Capital Planning Committee organizes roles and outlines annual town meeting strategy. Members assigned themselves as liaisons to the town accountant, Fire Department, and Council on Aging, while Crystal Kruszyna took on interim secretary duties. Mark Lipton's proposed capital planning toolkit was deferred to the January 28 meeting, with committee consensus favoring establishment of a formal capital planning process by Town Meeting.
Kirsten Henshaw reported stabilization fund balances totaling $267,794 across School, General, Highway, Fire, and Capital accounts, with the Police fund at zero.
