MIDDLEFIELD — Capital Planning Committee elects Jay Swift chair, launches asset inventory. The committee unanimously approved prior minutes and selected Swift as Chair, with all members present supporting the appointment. Liaisons will gather information from town department heads about capital assets and replacement needs, with Phase 1 data collection targeted for completion by February 25, 2026.
The committee postponed discussion of roads, bridges, and culverts to a later date and deferred determination of the CPC's role at town meeting until Phase 1 data is collected.
