Finance Committee convenes to review legal costs, stabilization fund, and town hall cameras.

Finance Committee · Meeting of April 29, 2026

MIDDLEFIELD — Finance Committee discusses legal budget and town hall cameras ahead of May Annual Town Meeting. Kenneth Murray presented concerns about consulting the town attorney, saying costs are "unnecessarily high" and a better process is needed for managing K.P. Law representation.

Chair Brent LeBeau reported a town hall camera policy and presentation are near completion but noted the Capital Planning Committee has not yet reviewed the initiative. No formal votes were recorded, and the committee meets again May 13.
