MIDDLEFIELD — The Middlefield Finance Committee voted unanimously to postpone elections for chair and secretary until July 15, when all members can be present. Residents Maureen Longobardi, Alphonso Longobardi, Ray Schneller, and Sue Schneller expressed support for Kenneth Murray as chair during public comment, citing his town experience. Questions were also raised about whether Noreen Suriner, who is also the Town Moderator, could legally hold both positions.

The committee welcomed new member Barry Bernard and acknowledged outgoing members Brent LeBeau and Judy Hoag.
