Five deeds recorded in Middlefield, one price on the books
Middlefield recorded five property deed transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only one disclosed a sale price: $195,800 for 191 E River Road, sold July 22 to Verus Residential Loanco LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. That figure also stands as the period's median, since no other price was recorded. The remaining transfers, on Chipman Road, Alderman Road, Chester Road and East River Road (a second, related filing), carried no disclosed price and included a homestead declaration, a bank-seller transaction, and a transfer to the town of Middlefield. With price data limited to a single transaction, the dataset does not support a broader read on market direction this period.
