Middlefield Planning Board agreed on a master document approach for its commercial solar bylaw.
Planning Board · Meeting of October 5, 2026
Middlefield Planning Board agreed on a master document approach for its commercial solar bylaw. Member Irene Rodriguez Martín proposed compiling work submissions from board members Andrea Tosi, Michael Hitchcock, Michelle Main, and Maureen Sullivan for review prior to the next meeting, and the board approved this approach. The board also discussed seeking mapped data layers from the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission to identify town areas suitable for solar development, a foundation step toward a commercial solar overlay district.
The board unanimously approved minutes from its September 29 meeting and scheduled its next meeting for October 14 at 5:00 p.m.
