MIDDLEFIELD — Select Board approves Fire Department Mutual Aid Agreement, directs administrator review. Ann Marie Visconti, Chair, led the five-member board (two in-person members present) through a lengthy discussion on ambulance services prompted by Hilltown Ambulance's direct calls from residents outside the 911 system. The board voted by majority to send Town Counsel's proposed response to an Open Meeting Law complaint filed December 17, 2025, by Maureen and Alfonso Longobardi to the Attorney General.
Town Administrator Evan Kenney was directed to coordinate with Police and Fire Chiefs on formal mutual aid agreements and dispatch protocols across county boundaries.
