Middlefield Select Board classifies Segatti dog dangerous after continuation hearing on neighbor complaints. Selectboard Chair Ann Marie Visconti and member Sherri Venditti voted to deem the dog dangerous and require humane restraint following testimony from neighbors Maureen and Alfonso Longobardi, who reported the dog restricted their movement and caused fear. Member Curt Robie abstained, not having attended the prior hearing.
Town Administrator Evan Kenney reported a site visit found the fence adequate and the dog friendly in demeanor. The board also awarded a 660,000 dollar contract to Ingelwood Construction for the Senior Center, beating Renaissance Builders' bid of 682,618 dollars.
