Seven Deeds Recorded in Middlefield, Most Without Disclosed Sale Prices
Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded seven Middlefield property transactions between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only two disclosed a sale price: $16,007 for a parcel on West Hill Road and $377,492 for 6 Johnny Cake Hill Road, the period's top sale, with a $196,749 median based on those two figures. Five transactions, including a homestead declaration, a family trust transfer and a corporate-entity transfer, carried no disclosed price. Two filings referenced the same Johnny Cake Hill Road property under different spellings. With pricing available for fewer than a third of recorded transactions, the data show limited but present deed activity rather than a clear price trend.
